Start freeFOR CARE PROVIDERS
A direct way for relatives to reach the care team, and staff channels for the working day – in the app, a browser or Microsoft Teams.
The walkthrough is ten minutes in a real channel, on your own phone. Start free is personal messaging for adults: one private group channel, up to 25 people and three calendar months of history. Guests such as relatives, Microsoft Teams and the Microsoft 365 archive come with paid plans, where the record files into your organisation’s own Microsoft 365, under your retention rules.
THE CONVERSATION TODAY
A daughter texts a carer’s own number about Sunday’s visit. The rota changes in a staff group on a consumer app. Most of it is kind and well meant, and it keeps families in touch.
The harder part is the provider’s side: keeping staff numbers private, knowing who is in which conversation, and finding what was said when someone asks.

Each has its own channels and its own people. Your organisation decides who belongs in each.
A private family line for visiting arrangements, outings and routine, non-clinical questions. Every relative who reaches it gets their own private thread.
Staff channels for a change of plan, a task or an update everyone should acknowledge. Your organisation chooses who can start a direct message.
Formal care records and urgent escalation stay in your established systems and procedures.
HOW IT FITS TOGETHER
Relatives message where it suits them. The care team answers where it already works. Your organisation decides where the lasting record lives.
Joins from a texted invitation and messages in the ComplyChat app or a browser. No Microsoft account needed.
App or browserAnswer in ComplyChat on a phone, or from Microsoft Teams in the office. Both see the same conversation.
ComplyChat, or Teams on paid plansOn a connected paid plan, the record files into your own Microsoft 365, under your retention rules.
Paid plansWHAT CHANGES
Messages, voice notes, photos and documents, in the app or a browser.
Members join without handing their number to the whole group. Phone numbers stay private from other members, and people appear by name.
Relatives join by invitation, and each texted invitation works only for the person it was sent to.
On a connected paid plan, conversations file into your organisation’s own Microsoft 365. Your filed archive stays there if you leave.
AN EVERYDAY EXAMPLE
Daniel asks about visiting his mother on Sunday. Grace, on shift, replies from the ComplyChat app. On a paid plan with a connected archive, the exchange files into your organisation’s Microsoft 365.

ROLLING IT OUT
Tell us how your service works – one home, several, or care in people’s own homes. We’ll help you choose where to begin.
Your service sets the approved contacts and what each channel is for, under your own policies.
A private line counts as one channel, however many relatives reach it. So Foundation’s two channels could be one private family line and one channel for staff.
Your Global Admin runs the install, and you approve the wording people are shown.
On paid plans, a private line can follow a CSV contact list, such as an export of approved contacts from your own system.
PRIVACY AND PROTECTION
Core messages are stored and processed in the UK. Supporting services, including live-call routing, SMS, push notifications and maps, may process outside the UK.

Compare paid plansNo. Relatives can use ComplyChat in a browser, or get the app for iPhone, iPad or Android. People joining a conversation need no Microsoft account.
Not on a private line. Every person who reaches it gets their own private thread, so families never see each other or each other’s messages. A relative’s phone number stays private from other members; on paid plans, your organisation’s administrators can see members’ numbers in the client portal, to manage who belongs, and staff who answer from Microsoft Teams can see the number of someone who is not on your staff list.
No. Your service sets the approved contacts and decides who belongs in each channel. Being next of kin does not, on its own, authorise every disclosure, so your own policies still decide what is shared.
No. ComplyChat is for everyday conversation between your service, relatives and staff. It is not a care-record system, safeguarding case management or an emergency route. Formal care records and urgent escalation stay in your established systems and procedures.
Not directly. On paid plans, a private line can use a complete CSV contact list, uploaded by an administrator or read from your connected Microsoft 365 archive library, and checked daily, weekly or only on demand. Your existing system must produce the export, and record labels and displayed fields are configurable.
Governance includes 10 channels and local numbers for 3 sites. Enterprise pricing is agreed to suit larger organisations. We’ll help you choose on the demo.
