Do people need a Microsoft account?
No. People can join ComplyChat in the app or browser. Your organisation connects Microsoft 365 to keep its paid-plan archive.
Does it capture existing WhatsApp chats?
No. ComplyChat is its own messaging service. Each channel starts with a new conversation; existing WhatsApp chats are not imported.
Where is our data processed?
Core messages are stored and processed in the UK. Supporting services, including live-call routing, SMS, push notifications and maps, may process outside the UK. See the service providers and locations.
Can we keep our archive if we leave?
Your filed archive stays in your Microsoft 365 when you leave. Read the no-hostage terms.
